LIC ADO 2021 Eligibility

Educational Qualification

The candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a UGC Recognized institute of India.

Age Limit

3. There will be a list of options. Click on the link that says ‘Recruitment for Apprentice Development Officer 2021’.
4. Click on the “ Click here to apply online” option available on the screen.
5. Before filling in the application form, the candidate will be redirected to the online registration page.
6. The candidate is required to enter their contact details and email-ID for successful registration. A provisional registration number and password will be generated by the system for future reference.
7. The candidate must keep in hand a scanned copy of their photo-ID cards that will be needed while filling in the application form.
8. After successfully submitting the application form, an electronic or e-Admit Card will be generated about 2-3 weeks before the exam date.

LIC ADO 2021 Exam Pattern

The LIC ADO exam pattern will be declared in the LIC ADO Recruitment Notification. However, It is likely that the Exam pattern for 2021 will not have much difference from the exam pattern of the previous years. Candidates are advised to go through the below exam pattern for better preparation.

All applicants are divided into 3 categories. 1) Open Category 2) LIC Employee Category and 3) LIC Agents Category. The Exam Pattern differs for the applicants based on their category. Applicants must therefore carefully go through the following LIC ADO exam pattern as per their categories.

Open Category: This category is open for all aspiring candidates who qualify the eligibility criteria.

LIC Employee Category: This category is open only to those aspiring candidates who are salaried employees of LIC (under Grade III) on a full-time basis.

LIC Agents Category: This category is open only to those aspiring candidates who work as LIC agents.

The LIC ADO exam pattern consists of 3 phases:

• The Written Exam: The written exam is a computer-based online test held in two rounds:
  • Round I – Prelims, or the Preliminary Round of Qualification
  • Round II – Mains, or the Main Round of Qualification
• The Personal Interview
• The Medical Test

The Written Exam consists of a Preliminary examination and a Mains examination.

Personal Interview

Candidates who have successfully passed the Main Examination will be called for a Personal Interview, which is for 37 marks. The Final Merit list will be prepared based on the aggregate of the marks obtained in the Main Examination and Personal Interview.

The Medical Test

After the personal interview round, candidates who have been shortlisted for the Final selection will then be required to appear for a medical test conducted by LIC India. Candidates who pass the medical test will then be appointed ADO’s with LIC.
