    LIC AAO 2021 Exam Date

    LIC AAO 2021 notification was released on Feb 25, 2021, and the online registration began on the same day. The last date to apply online and pay the registration fee will be Mar 15, 2021. The preliminary exam was scheduled to be conducted on May 7, 2021, whereas the mains exam was scheduled for Jun 25, 2021.     LIC AAO 2021 Recruitment

    The LIC AAO 2021 recruitment process involves three stages:

    1. Preliminary Exam
    2. Mains Exam
    3. Interview

    LIC invites candidates for an interview round based on marks obtained in the mains exam only. The final merit list will be based on the marks secured by the candidate in Mains and Interview.

    The short-listed candidates are required to go through a Pre-Medical Examination to know whether they are medically fit for the position or not.

    LIC AAO 2021 Eligibility Criteria

    Candidates must ensure that they are satisfying all the requirements as specified in the eligibility criteria set by the Life Insurance Corporation, before registering for the LIC AAO exam. If they fail to do so, their application will be rejected.

    The candidate must be a citizen of India.

    LIC AAO 2021 Syllabus

    The syllabus for LIC AAO is similar to that of any Indian management and banking entrance exams but at a slightly lesser difficulty level.     LIC AAO 2021 Exam Pattern

    Candidates applying for the post of AAO must have a good idea about the pattern of both Preliminary and Main examinations. The LIC AAO 2021 recruitment has 3 levels and it is mandatory for students to successfully clear the Cut off of each section to be qualified for the next round.

    • Prelims: Comprises 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) and 70 Marks
    • Mains: 300 (Objective) +25 Marks (Descriptive)
    • Personal Interview: 30 Marks

    Exam Duration: The duration of the LIC AAO 2021 prelims exam would be 60 minutes and the duration of the LIC AAO 2021 Mains exam would be 150 minutes, which implies 2 hours and 30 minutes.

    Marking Scheme: Mark awarded for each correct answer in both prelims and mains would be 1 mark and 0.25 marks will be deducted for every incorrect answer. There is no negative marking for the descriptive paper of the mains exam.

    LIC AAO Preliminary Exam Pattern

    The pattern of the preliminary exam is given below. It consists of 3 sections and the maximum marks are 70. The exam will be conducted for 1 hour. There is a sectional time limit of 20 minutes for each section. Candidates equal to 20 times the number of vacancies in each category will be shortlisted for the Main exam.

    The AAO Main exam consists of 120 Multiple Choice Questions for 300 marks and 2 descriptive questions for 25 marks. Both the objective and descriptive tests will be conducted where candidates have to answer the descriptive question by typing on the computer. There will be separate timing for every section.

    To apply for LIC AAO, candidates first have to register themselves at the website of IBPS. Candidates need to fill in their Personal details, Educational background, and Family background. Candidates are required to upload the photograph and signature.

    • Candidates have to provide their DOB, Aadhar Card Number, other personal, academic and work details while filling the application form and also need to upload their scanned image of recent passport size photograph and signature in JPE or JPEG format only.
    • Only after successful fee payment, a candidate’s LIC AAO Application Process will be completed.
    • Registration ID and Password will be generated and will be notified to the candidates through email and SMS. This will remain as the login credentials for the candidate till the recruitment process is over.

    LIC AAO 2021 Cut off

    The conducting authority will release the cut-off marks for each phase of the exam. LIC AAO Cut off is the minimum marks candidates must secure in each section of each phase of the selection process. The aggregate Cut off marks will be decided by the authority in due course. LIC uses an equivalent-percentile equating method to normalize the score obtained by the candidates.
