HSSC JE Recruitment - Junior Engineer

Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) will soon release the HSSC JE 2021 Notification for recruiting Junior Engineers (JE). The total number of vacancies is expected to be roughly about 1624 spanning across more than 20 departments of the Haryana Government. The HSSC Junior engineers are recruited for more than 20 departments under the Haryana Government. Some of the departments are below:

HSSC JE Salary

HSSC Junior Engineers can expect a handsome salary of Rs. 35, 400/- per month. However, the exact salary details will be known later when the notification is released.  

HSSC JE Eligibility Criteria 2021

Age Limit

  • Minimum Age – 18 years
  • Maximum Age – 42 years

Upper Age Relaxation:

  • The upper age limit is relaxable up to 5 years in the case of Scheduled Caste (SC), Backward Class (A) & Backward Class (B) as per Haryana Govt. instructions.
  • In the case of PwD General Candidates, the upper age limit is relaxable by 10 years (15 years for SCs/BCs) as per Haryana Government instructions.
  • For Ex-servicemen Candidates, relaxation up to continuous Military service added by three years is permissible.
  • The upper age limit in respect of widow, legally separated woman, divorcee, deserted woman and unmarried woman will be up to 47 years as per Government instructions.

Note: All of the above relaxations are for the Haryana State domicile only.

Educational Qualification

HSSC JE Educational Qualifications 2021

JE (Civil) Three years Diploma in Civil Engineering, conducted by the State Board of Technical Education, Department. Haryana or any other Institution recognized by the Haryana Government.

OR

B.Tech. in Civil Engineering from any recognized University Approved by the University Grants Commission and All India Council for Technical Education or Associate Membership Examination Of the Institute of Engineers (India) (Associate Member of the Institution Of Engineering Civil).

Matric with Hindi or Sanskrit as one of the subjects or higher

JE (Electrical) Three years Diploma in Electrical Engineering, conducted by the State Board Of Technical Education. Department, Haryana or any other Institutions recognized by the Haryana Government.

OR

B.Tech. in Electrical Engineer/ Bachelor in Engineering (Electrical Engineering) from any recognized University, approved by the University Grants Commission and from All India Council for Technical Education or Associate Membership Examination of the Institute of Engineers (India) (Associate Member of the Institution of Engineering Electrical)

Matric with Hindi or Sanskrit as one of the subjects or higher

JE (Mechanical) Three years Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, conducted by the State Board of Technical Education. Department, Haryana or any other Institutions recognized by the Haryana Government.

OR

B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineer/ Bachelor in Engineering (Mechanical Engineering) from any recognized University. approved by the University Grants Commission and from All India Council for Technical Education or Associate Membership Examination of the Institute of Engineers (India) (Associate Member of the Institution Of Engineering Mechanical

Matric with Hindi or Sanskrit as one of the subjects or higher

JE (Horticulture)
  • B.Sc (Agricultural) with Horticulture as a specialization
  • Matric with Hindi or Sanskrit as one of the subjects or higher

Weightages in the Written Exam

  1. 75% weightage for General Awareness, Reasoning, Mathematics, Science, Computer, English, Hindi and concerned or relevant subject, as applicable.
  2. 25% weightage for History, Current Affairs, Literature, Geography, Civics, Environment, Culture, etc. of Haryana.

HSSC JE 2021 Application Fee

The candidates will be required to pay the application fee when they are registering for the HSSC JE recruitment. The application fee to be paid by the candidates of different categories are given below:

HSSC JE Recruitment 2021 Apply Online

You can apply for the HSSC JE Exam online mode only. Below are the steps to apply for the HSSC JE exam:

  • Step 1: You can register through HSSC’s official website.
  • Step 2: Note that you have to pay the Application fee online using a Debit Card/Credit Card/Internet Banking/Cash Cards/Wallets or other online payment methods.
  • Step 3: Just make sure you use a valid email ID, which you have to keep active until the final declaration of results.
  • Step 4: You should keep a scanned photograph and signature ready as per the requirements mentioned in the official notification. You will have to upload these.
  • Step 5: Submit the Application Form.
  • Step 6: Take out the printout of the application form for future reference.
  • Step 7: By following these above steps, you will submit your HSSC application form successfully.
