The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) is the regulatory body for the securities and commodity market in India. It works under the Ministry of Finance, Government of India. SEBI Grade A officer is one of the most aspired government jobs in India. Every year SEBI conducts a recruitment exam to recruit Grade A officers. Recently, SEBI has released the result for SEBI Grade A 2020-21 Phase-2 Exam on its official website @sebi.gov.in on 18th March 2021. The phase-2 online Main examination was held on 27th February 2021 and the marks will be released soon. - This is an online computer-based objective test.
- There is a Negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer in both Paper 1 and Paper 2.
- You need to clear the Phase 1 exam with sufficient merit in order to get shortlisted for the Phase-II examination.
Phase II – Online Main Examination
The Phase II or Online Main examination consists of 2 papers. Each paper has 100 questions for 100 marks each.

Phase III – Interview
Candidates who clear Phase II with sufficient merit will be called for an Interview. Candidates can opt to give interviews either in English or Hindi.
Final Selection
The Final selection of the candidates will be based on the combined score obtained by the candidates in Phase II Online Main Examination & Interview. The Main Exam score and Interview score are weighted in the ratio of 85:15 respectively while calculating the combined score.

SEBI Grade A Salary
Presently, for a SEBI Grade A Officer, the gross emolument, including SEBI’s Contribution towards National Pension Scheme (NPS), Grade Allowance, Special Allowance, Dearness Allowance, Family Allowance, Local Allowance etc. at Mumbai at the minimum of this scale is approx. Rs. 1,07,000/- p.m. without accommodation and Rs. 73,000/- p.m. with accommodation.
The pay scale of a SEBI Grade A Officer is Rs. 28150-1550(4)-34350-1750(7)-46600-EB-1750(4)-53600- 2000(1)-55600 (17 years).

- Suspension of Security Tradings in a Stock Exchange when needed.
