NABARD Development Assistant Selection Procedure
NABARD selection procedure consists of the following stages:
- Prelims Examination – An objective MCQs test for 100 marks
- Mains Examination – An objective MCQs + Descriptive test for 200 marks
- Language Proficiency Test
Prelims Exam is only Qualifying in nature. Marks obtained in prelims are not counted for final selection.
There is NEGATIVE marking of 0.25 marks (in both Prelims and Mains) as a penalty for every wrong answer.

Language Proficiency Test :
Those who qualify for selection and produce 10th or 12th standard mark sheet/certificate indicating official language as one of the subjects will not be subjected to Language Proficiency Test. For all others (qualified for selection), a language proficiency test will be conducted at the Regional Office of the concerned State, after the declaration of the Main examination result. The language proficiency test will be conducted in the official language of the concerned State concerned. Candidates not found to be proficient in the official language would be declared disqualified.
