NABARD Grade B Exam Overview

 

NABARD is  ‘National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development’. The full form of the NABARD Grade B Exam is “NABARD Grade B Manager Exam”.

NABARD conducts a common NABARD Grade B Exam to recruit Managers in the Rural Development Banking Service (RDBS) of NABARD. Once you clear all the stages of this exam with the required merit, you will be hired as a Manager in the NABARD.

NABARD Grade B Eligibility Criteria

There are 2 criteria that a candidate should fulfill in order to be eligible to sit for the NABARD Grade B Managers exam.

  1. Age Limit
  2. Education Qualifications.

Candidates need to fulfill both the eligibility criteria to apply for this exam.

NABARD Grade B Educational Qualifications

i) Manager – General

You should have a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with a minimum of 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/PWD).

OR

You should be having a Postgraduate degree in any discipline with a minimum of 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/PWD).

ii) Manager – Agriculture

You should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture with a minimum of 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/PWD).

OR

You should be having a Postgraduate degree in Agriculture with a minimum of 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/PWD).

 

NABARD Grade B Exam Pattern & Selection Procedure

NABARD Grade B Managers exam 2020 selection process consists of 3 stages, which are:

  • Prelims Exam
  • Mains Exam
  • Interview

NABARD Grade B Manager Prelims Exam Pattern

The Prelims is an ONLINE test with Multiple Choice Questions having five options.

This exam is only qualifying in nature & will serve as a screening test to filter candidates that are eligible to sit for the Mains exam.

NABARD Grade B Manager Mains Exam Pattern

This Exam will also be conducted in ONLINE Mode. You should score sufficiently high inorder to be called for Interview.

There are sectional cutoffs and an overall cutoff mark. There is a NEGATIVE Marking of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer.

NABARD Grade B Manager Exam Pattern – Interview

If you secure a sufficiently high rank in the exam then you will be called for the Interview, which is for 40 marks.

Final Selection

The Final Merit List will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained by you in Mains and Interview. The selected candidates will be posted as NABARD Grade B Managers.

NABARD Grade B Salary

Basic Pay of NABARD Grade B Manager is Rs 35,150 per month. 

There are many other allowances such as Dearness Allowance, Local Compensatory Allowance, House Rent Allowance, and Grade Allowance.

Gross Monthly Pay of NABARD Grade B Manager is Rs 66,800 (approx)

Pay Scale of Nabard Grade B Manager is Rs.35150 – 1750 (9) – 50900 – EB – 1750(2) – 54400 – 2000 (4) – 62400.
