HSSC Junior Engineer

Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) will soon release the notification for the HSSC JE for recruiting Junior Engineers (JE). The total number of vacancies are expected to be roughly about 1650 spanning across more than 20 departments of the Haryana Government.

HSSC JE Recruitment 2021 Salary

Exact salary details of HSSC Junior Engineers is not available. However, candidates can expect a handsome salary of Rs. 35, 400/- per month.

HSSC JE Eligibility Criteria 2019

Age Limit

  • Minimum Age – 18 years
  • Maximum Age – 42 years

Upper Age Relaxation:

  • Upper age limit is relaxable upto 5 years in the case of Scheduled Caste (SC), Backward Class (A) & Backward Class (B) as per Haryana Govt. instructions.
  • In the case of PwD General Candidates, the upper age limit is relaxable by 10 years (15 years for SCs/BCs) as per Haryana Government instructions.
  • For Ex-servicemen Candidates, relaxation up to continuous Military service added by three years is permissible.
  • The upper age limit in respect of widow, legally separated woman, divorcee, deserted woman and unmarried woman will be upto 47 years as per Government instructions.

Note: All of the above relaxations are for Haryana State domicile only.

Educational Qualifications

HSSC JE Educational Qualifications 2019

JE (Civil) Three years Diploma in Civil Engineering, conducted by the State Board of Technical Education, Department. Haryana or any other Institution recognized by the Haryana Government.

OR

B.Tech. in Civil Engineering from any recognized University Approved by the University Grants Commission and All India Council for Technical Education or Associate Membership Examination Of the Institute of Engineers (India) (Associate Member of the Institution Of Engineering Civil).

Matric with Hindi or Sanskrit as one of the subjects or higher

JE (Electrical) Three years Diploma in Electrical Engineering, conducted by the State Board Of Technical Education. Department, Haryana or any other Institutions recognized by the Haryana Government.

OR

B.Tech. in Electrical Engineer/ Bachelor in Engineering (Electrical Engineering) from any recognized University, approved by the University Grants Commission and from All India Council for Technical Education or Associate Membership Examination of the Institute of Engineers (India) (Associate Member of the Institution of Engineering Electrical)

  1. 75% weightage for General Awareness, Reasoning, Mathematics, Science, Computer, English, Hindi and concerned or relevant subject, as applicable.
  2. 25% weightage for History, Current Affairs, Literature, Geography, Civics, Environment, Culture etc. of Haryana.

HSSC JE Recruitment 2021 Apply Online

You can apply for the HSSC JE Exam through online mode only. To apply for HSSC JE exam, follow these steps:

  • Step 1: You can register through HSSC’s official website.
  • Step 2: Note that you have to pay the Application fee online using a Debit Card/Credit Card/Internet Banking/Cash Cards/Wallets or other online payment methods.
  • Step 3: Just make sure you use a valid email ID, which you have to keep active until the final declaration of results.
  • Step 4: You should keep a scanned photograph and signature ready as per requirements mentioned in the official notification. You will have to upload these.
  • Step 5: Submit the Application Form.
  • Step 6: Take out the print out of the application form for future reference.
  • Step 7: By following these above steps, you will submit your HSSC application form successfully.
