Delhi Police Constable Salary

Delhi Police Constable Salary Payscale is Rs. 21,700 – Rs. 69,100. This means the starting Basic Pay is Rs. 21,700. Apart from the basic pay, salary also includes various allowances such as HRA, DA, TA, Dress Allowance (yearly), etc.

After all deductions, the final in-hand monthly salary of Delhi Police constable is approximately Rs 36,000/-. 

Note:

  • There is a Dress Allowance of Rs 10,000 for Delhi Police Constable. It is paid in July once ina year.
  • Delhi Police Constable also receives a year-end bonus in January every year.

Driving License

Male Candidates must possess a valid driving license for LMV (Motor Cycle or car) for the post of constable (Male) in Delhi Police as on the date of PE&MT. Learner License is not acceptable.

Reasoning:

Analytical Aptitude and ability to observe and distinguish patterns will be tested through questions principally of non-verbal type. This component may include questions on analogies, similarities and differences, spatial visualization, spatial orientation, visual memory, discrimination, observations, relationship concepts, arithmetic reasoning and figural classification, arithmetical number series, non-verbal series, coding and decoding, etc.

General Knowledge/Current Affairs: Questions intend to test the candidate’s general awareness around him/her. Questions related to India and neighboring countries especially pertaining to History, Culture Geography, Indian Economy, General Polity, Indian Constitution, Sports, Scientific Research, etc.

Numerical Ability: Number Systems, Computation of Whole Numbers, Decimals and Fractions and relationship between Numbers, Fundamental arithmetical operations, Percentages, Ratio and Proportion, Averages, Interest, Profit and Loss, Discount, Mensuration, Time and Distance, Ratio and Time, Time and Work, etc.

Computer Awareness:-
