RBI Security Guard Admit Card 2021
Admit cards/call letters for the Security Guard exam of RBI will be made available to download 15 days prior to the exam date on the official RBI website. Without admit card, no candidate will be allowed to appear for the RBI Security Guard 2021 exam. So it is very important that candidates download their admit cards.

Pre-Exam Training for SC/ST/OBC
The Reserve Bank of India may arrange pre-examination training at certain centers for SC/ST/OBC candidates in consonance with the guidelines issued by Government. Only the candidates opting for pre-exam training while filling up the application form will be eligible to avail this opportunity.

RBI Security Guard Selection Process
The selection of the candidates for the Security Guard post in RBI will be based on an online test followed by a physical test. The physical test is of qualifying in nature, therefore, the candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of marks obtained in the written examination. Below are the details of both the stages simultaneously:

- Except for General English, both the tests i.e Test of Reasoning and Numerical Ability will be bilingual.
- There is a Negative Marking of the ¼ mark for every wrong answer.

RBI Security Guard Salary 2021
Applicants selected for the post of Security Guards will draw a starting basic pay of ₹ 10940/- per month in the scale of 10940-380 (4)-12460- 440(3) -13780-520(3)-15340-690 (2)-16720- 860(4) – 20160-1180 (3)- 23700 (20 years) including other allowances such as Dearness Allowance, Transport Allowance, House Rent Allowance, Personal Fixed Allowance, Local Compensatory Allowance, Shift Allowance, Special Functional Allowance, Special Allowance (I), Grade Allowance, Washing Allowance, etc. as admissible from time to time.
At present, the initial monthly Gross emoluments for the post of Security Guards is approximately ₹ 24,052/- including House Rent Allowance @ of 15 %.
RBI Security Guard Job Profile
The job profile of a security guard in RBI is as follows:
- Guarding Bank’s property (official/Residential), other watch & ward duties round the clock.
- Operating X-Ray machines/DFMD for checking baggage at the entrance and other allied duties which may be assigned by the Bank.
- The Security Guards will have to work in shifts, including night shifts.
The above list is only indicative, not exhaustive. The Bank reserves the right to assign any other work in case of requirement.
Security Guard of RBI Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the post of security guard applicants have to undergo two basic classifications which are age limit criteria and educational qualification along with experience. These norms are stated by the officials of the Reserve Bank of India.
Candidates failing to fulfill the eligibility criteria will not be applicable to fill the application form. So, please carefully read all the eligibility criteria for Security Guard Post before filling up the online application form.
Age limit
The minimum age of the applicant should not be less than 25 years (28 years for OBC and 30 years for SC/ST as per category relaxation provided by the Government of India) as of 01st January 2021, is further relaxed to the extent of the number of years of service in Armed Forces plus 3 years. Moreover, the maximum upper age limit should not exceed 45 years.
Note: – The upper age limit of 45 years is uniformly applicable to candidates belonging to all categories inclusive of reserved candidates.
Educational Qualification
The candidate should have passed the 10th Standard (S.S.C./Matriculation) from recognized State Education Board or equivalent as of 01/01/2021. Candidates possessing graduates or higher qualifications are not eligible to apply.
Experience: Only ex-servicemen with a proper military background are eligible. The candidates should have experience in handling arms and ammunition in the military. However, matriculate Ex-servicemen with 15 years of experience are considered as “Graduates” who are eligible to apply.

After the successful completion of the RBI “Security Guard” online exam, the authority has released the result on their official website. The final merit list will be prepared only on the basis of the written test, the physical test is only qualifying in nature.
